The works presented are a sampling of the various thematic
groups in my oil paintings made using an Old Chinese marbling technique.
Such a technique developed in China during the Imperial Court . More than 500 years ago,
was used to produce documents and treaties, since this technique is impossible to
forge.
I use Chinese oil colours painted on cotton linen.
Academic artist Prof. Peter Kolin was my intensive instructor in oil painting. He ascribes to
the late phantastic realists , that he feels to be symbolist. My intentions were to
develop my own personal style of artistic realization derived from the realistic painting
combined with the extraordinary technique of marbling.
